The most fuel-efficient hybrid in America just got better: the Toyota Prius Plug-in

When it debuted in 2001, the Toyota Prius changed the face of efficient motoring by offering affordable hybrid technology to the masses. Since then, Toyota has further refined the Prius to increase not just fuel efficiency, but interior space and technology as well, creating the most popular hybrid in America.  Even with more than one million Prii sold, Toyota has continued to perfect the design, and the results of their efforts can be seen in the new Prius Plug-in.

The 2012 Prius Plug-in mixes the technology of an electric car with the range of a hybrid car. The Prius Plug-in has an all-electric range of 13 miles and a charging time of just 90 minutes thanks to its advanced lithium-ion battery pack, making it a perfect vehicle for Massachusetts Toyota drivers. You can watch range anxiety blow away like a Leaf in the wind, because once the battery is finished you can continue driving as if nothing had changed and still get 51 mpg in the city and 48 mpg on the highway.
